Howdy y'all,
The campaign for Breaker crossed the finish line last night, and I have to say that all in all, we did amazing! I'm a little sad we didn't hit the Double Trouble stretch goal there at the end (we were off by $126, ahhhh we were soooo close!) But even missing that goal, I'm so darn proud and happy to have all of you to support this! I can't wait to get these books out to everyone.
What's Next?
Now I have to wait for Kickstarter to do their thing. You should be getting emails about them processing your payment, and it'll take a couple weeks to get over to me.
If Kickstarter sends you an email saying they couldn't process your payment, please follow their instructions to update your information. You only have a limited time to fix the payment information so your pledge goes through.
Meanwhile...
As that's happening, I'll be preparing the post-campaign reward survey that will be sent out from Backerkit. The survey is where you'll provide all the delivery details: email for your digital items, and for those receiving physical items, your shipping address. This is also where I'll gather the info from those in the Backer Hall of Fame tiers so that I can get that ready for the hardcover and ebook editions.
I also emailed The Sapphic Witch last night about the illustration we unlocked, so I hope to hear from her soon! Depending on when she can get that done it may nudge the timeline back on getting out the hardcover edition, but hopefully not by too much. (My goal is still to deliver way before the March 2023 estimate.)
Again, please know how much I appreciate your support, and I can't wait for you to dig into the world of the outlaw mages!

Howdy all!
This is it, we're coming up on the finish line in just a few short hours! As of this moment, we are ONE backer away from me needing to shoot the Sapphic Witch an email about another illustration! And a little over $300 from y'all making me have to do more work on the illustrated hardcover/special edition ebook to add some more stuff, plus edit another short story for everyone! Only time will tell if I have more work to do when this campaign closes out tonight.
But beyond that...
I want to truly thank each and every one of you for backing this project. Bringing this illustrated edition to life is a passion project of mine, and I can't wait to share the world of the outlaw mages with new readers and to offer amazing new content to my existing fans. Thank you for supporting me and believing in this campaign. It's been a fantastic roller coaster ride of emotions and I can't wait to do it all over again with a new book!
Regardless of the end total, let's celebrate!
In the home stretch!

Howdy!
With less than 48 hours remaining, we're now in the home stretch! I'm on pins and needles to see if we'll hit any of the current stretch goals we're shooting for. As of this update, we need 10 more backers to hit the 80 backer goal for a new illustration from The Sapphic Witch, and $679 from the Double Trouble goal which unlocks character pictures in the illustrated edition/special edition eBook and a new Outlaw origins story. If you can, share this campaign and remind folks to back it so we can hit those goals!
Throwing Down the Gauntlet
I have a challenge, because I'm attempting to be an optimist. If we hit 90 backers, I'll also throw in a live Q&A with all backers where you can ask me anything about the series (non-spoilery), how I write, Kickstarter, etc. Let's do this!
What I've Been Up To
I have no chill, so last night I took a stab at editing the Jefferson & Flora story, since I already had it written. I'm a pretty harsh critic of myself, so I was pleasantly surprised when I almost had so much fun reading the story it was hard to edit. (I did make some edits, though, and added about 300 more words to it.) It now has the tentative title Epic Friendship though I'm not 100% sure it'll stick. Regardless, this perk is so much closer to being ready for release, hooray!
And in case you're looking for something completely different from what I write in your life (because hey, some folks read a wide variety of books and that is awesome!), then check out Alien Bride Lottery.
