It's a slog

Hi!

It's not at all exaggerating to say that right now, the campaign is in a slog. The needle has hardly budged the last few days (though to those who did join in the last few days, thankyouthankyouthankyou!) It's hard to say right now if we're going to unlock any of the upcoming stretch goals, but I'm optimistic that we'll hit one or the other! (Both would be grand, but I'm not going to count my chickens before they're hatched.)

In bookish news, I finished the first draft of book 4, Persuader, yesterday--which left me with time to dabble on campaign stuff! I recorded the audio pronunciation guide yesterday, then when I thought it was done realized there's 5 more words that were left out of the print pronunciation guide and need to be added to both. Wah-wah-waaaaaaah. 

I also worked on the audio commentary, which I thought wouldn't take long to record. Boy, I was wrong. It also made me think that I should write down notes for the other books before they're too far out of my mind!

Howdy all!

We are sloooowly edging our way closer to the stretch goals. Less than $700 from unlocking the Double Trouble goal and 13 backers away from a new illustration that will be added to the book and made available for all backers to download!

We have exactly one week to go - we can do this! It's a good thing I'm almost done with the first draft of book 4...when this campaign ends it looks like I'll need some time to edit stories and hopefully add content to Breaker!

On the hunt for other Kickstarter reads?

If you like horror-type stories, take a gander at Red Sunrise! I'm not big on horror myself, but I know lots who are, and this does sound pretty interesting--I mean, what's not intriguing about a Samurai/Vampire story?

Seems like folks loved the addition of Fly By Night (and the potential to have digital copies of the pegasus art), so I've made it an add-on. If you've already backed, you can add it to your pledge, if you so choose.
